Peter the Great St. Petersburg Polytechnic University is the largest technical university in the country with historically established strong scientific schools, having undeniable results and achievements in scientific, educational and innovative activities. SPbPU has two dormitories for foreign students, which are located near the University. An apartment-type dormitory. Each block has two equipped rooms, where 3-4 students live. One bathroom and a kitchen for each unit. The dormitories have study rooms, a medical center, a laundry room, a sports center is located near the hostel. There is also a student clinic and a cafe. There is a swimming pool and gyms. The University has university teams – football, basketball, volleyball.

 

SPbPU Laboratories and Classrooms

 

The LABORATORY OF THERMAL ENGINES - the modern equipment that the laboratory had at its disposal made it possible to carry out various studies of engines and machines delivered to the institute for testing. There is A POWER PLANT, A HYDRAULIC LABORATORY, A LABORATORY OF ELECTRIC MACHINES, A LABORATORY OF RESISTANCE OF MATERIALS, A CHEMICAL AUDITORIUM, A CHEMICAL LABORATORY, as well as Physical laboratories, Drawing rooms , a Museum of samples of goods , a Maritime museum.

 

A group of tutors of the University provides support and support to foreign students of SPbPU. They meet students, introduce them to the city and the University. Full-time students can count on assistance in finding a job at the University departments. Students who want to work outside the University can apply for assistance in obtaining the necessary documents in the migration service.
