Legalization of the document on education
Legalization is a procedure for affixing a special stamp on a document in the issuing country, after which it can be presented at the place of claim abroad.
When applying to a Russian University, the applicant must take care in advance of preparing a package of documents that must be submitted to the University. And first you need to go through the procedure of legalizing the diploma. This can usually be done at the consulate of the Russian Federation of your country.
Some states have concluded a special agreement with Russia, thanks to which a foreign document on education is recognized as valid automatically. Find out if your country is included in this list.
And after completing your studies at a Russian university and obtaining a diploma, you will need to go through the legalization procedure again – this time on the territory of Russia, so that your education document is valid abroad.
