In 1942, the Russian Nuclear University MEPhI was formed on the basis of the Moscow Mechanical Institute of Ammunition. Today, MEPhI is one of the leading research universities in Russia, training engineers and researchers in more than 100 areas: medical physics and nuclear medicine, nuclear physics and technologies, nanomaterials and nanotechnologies, radiation and beam technologies, superconductivity and controlled thermonuclear fusion, information security, ecology and biophysics.
The programs of the NRU MEPhI comply with international standards for the quality of education. They also train here for expertise and management, analytics in the field of engineering economics and nuclear law, as well as in the field of management.
