Such a permit is issued within 10 working days for a period of 1 year only to full-time students with state accreditation. They have the right to work exclusively in the profession specified in the permit, and only in the region or city where their University is located.
If a foreign citizen changes his place of work before the end of the validity period of the current permit, he can work under this document at the next place, but in this case he is obliged to inform the Migration Service of Russia about the changes within one week.
A work permit is issued by the territorial body of the Migration Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia on the basis of the submitted documents:
an application, an identity document, a migration card and a receipt for payment of state duty, as well as an employment contract, certificates of absence of HIV infection, absence of infectious diseases and drug addiction, a certificate from the University about studying at the main full-time program.
